The Kansas City Society of Training Directors was officially started in 1948. A group of half a dozen training people met and discussed the possibility of forming a training association in Kansas Citv. As a result of this meeting Mr. Cloyd Steinmetz, Chairman of the Pro-motion Committee of the American So-ciety of Training Directors at that time, was invited to meet with us for advice and counsel.
