The article presents information related to Martin Sloman's article, "Learning Evaluation or Not?" published in the September 2004 issue of the periodical. A tacit agreement may exist in organizations that developing people is good for business but exactly how good is the question. After working 25 years in the training industry, one can attest that the lack of hard data regarding the value of training is a very real drawback to positioning training as a solid business investment.
