Program Overview

Program Overview

In this practical and interactive program, you will experience Accelerated Learning – a powerful methodology for training based on the extensive research of learning and human development. Discover how to start your participants’ learning process on the job by designing prework activities that generate thinking, sharing, and excitement about learning. Adopt techniques to help learners develop skills quickly and efficiently by using a careful combination of centering and connection activities, creative presentations, discovery activities, games, simulations, practical skill-building activities, and reflection. The use of music, storytelling, visuals, and focused group sharing will deepen your participants’ learning.

Bring a project of your own with you and apply the Accelerated Learning Cycle, a template for designing and facilitating impactful learning. The Accelerated Learning program and its concepts will make it easy for you to create programs that have impact by design, not by chance.

Why You Should Attend:

  • Apply the Accelerated Learning Cycle to design and facilitate programs with true impact.
  • Use music, reflection activities, effective discovery activities, and feedback techniques to deepen learning and help learners apply their learning on the job.
  • Design effective pre- and post-program activities that set the stage for learning and deepen the transfer to the workplace.

What to Expect:

  • Pre-Work: Get the most out of your program.  Complete a pre-reading assignment, a self-assessment, and reflection questions to prepare for your program.
  • Supplemental Resources:  This program includes templates and tools, a Learning and Application Survey, and an optional follow up teleconference.
  • Technical Requirements:
    • Online programs: The online version of this program is conducted in the WebEx Training Center. Special software is not required. You only need a standard web browser and telephone or VoIP capability to participate. In addition, it is strongly recommended to use a desktop or laptop computer as using a tablet or phone severely limits your ability to fully and actively participate in the program.
