Do you have great training content housed in PowerPoint slides? Are you looking for a quick and easy way to build e-learning by leveraging your existing materials? Receive the basic skills and knowledge you need to begin using Articulate Studio and turn your PowerPoint slides into self-paced e-learning programs.
Rapid e-learning development tools become powerful content transformation instruments in the hands of skilled learning and development professionals. Learn the basics of creating self-paced training programs with Articulate Studio in this engaging, hands-on workshop. After completing the three 90-minute live sessions, you will be able to create self-paced e-learning programs that incorporate branched scenarios, audio, and video, while integrating learner activities and quizzes seamlessly. These programs can also be delivered in a variety of environments, including Learning Management Systems (LMS).
The instructional concepts covered and materials provided will enable you to build the skills necessary for content adaptation and program design. The facilitator will work with you to provide guidance and coaching, and help you understand how to apply the content you learn to your own training environments.
Why You Should Attend:
What to Expect:
This program is conducted in the WebEx Training Center platform. Special software is not required. You only need a standard web browser and telephone or VoIP capability to participate.
Who Should Attend
Ideal participants include learning and development professionals who are proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and who have to develop e-learning programs from PowerPoint content. These could include training managers, instructional designers, instructional developers, trainers, product managers, and marketing and communication professionals.
ATD Education programs are designed primarily for learning professionals— – trainers, instructional designers, and organizational development practitioners— – but also greatly benefit anyone within an organization who is responsible for developing others, from managers to human resources specialists.
Credits & Attendance
Participation in all online sessions at their originally scheduled day and time is mandatory to receive completion for the program. Participants who fulfill this attendance requirement will see their completion status reflected on their transcript in the ATD Learning Portal and will receive an email verifying their completion of the program. If you must miss a session, all sessions will be recorded and available in the Learning Portal for participants to review throughout the program.
"Both of the ASTD [now ATD] certificate programs I had the pleasure of attending were conducted by extremely well qualified personnel, the facilities were conducive to performing the required training, and the accommodations in the immediate area were of high quality and within a short walk. I'll be returning this year."
At this time, there are no scheduled dates for this program. Please check back for updates or bring it on-site to your organization.

Essentials of Adobe Animate for E-Learning Designers
For nearly 20 years, Flash has been the standard for producing amazing, interactive content for the eLearning developers. Because of the emergence of HTML 5, the demand to create interactive, animated elements that leverage web standards while being able to play on all devices has become very important. Adobe Animate is the new tool from Adobe that combines open source animation and familiar tools into one application that can indulge your creativity as well as your desire for programming and interactivity.
E-Learning development software is good not great. Often, they are missing key elements that provide interactivity as well as motion graphics and animation. For the developer looking to add that magic back into their learning, without leveraging old Flash technology to do it, Adobe Animate is the new go-to tool. How do you begin? How can you leverage what you already know about your authoring tool and apply those skills to Adobe Animate? Most books and learning sites target the designer or the developer, but as an eLearning author, where can you go to get started? If you can relate to these questions, this three-session workshop is for you.
At the start of each session, you will receive sample code and graphics via a download. You will also be assigned homework each week to help you get the core skills you need to get up and running in Adobe Animate quickly. This workshop takes place using extensive app sharing, so you get to see and experience Adobe Animate during the session, and then work with it on your own between sessions.

Essentials of Game Design
Have you been to a workshop and wondered how the content could be made more interesting or fun? You know the content is important, but it seems a little dry. Learning how to easily develop games will enable you to greatly enhance your learning programs.
This interactive online workshop will break the process of game design into basic steps that make it easy to add interest to your workshops.
Essentials of E-Learning Authoring Tools
To program online learning, you need to know how to create graphics, create multimedia elements and program the web code.
Which tool does this best if you are a newcomer? What about if you’re a seasoned developer? Which tool meets your needs, and which will leave you wanting more?
This workshop covers the types of software tools you need, and then explores web-based tools for creating e-learning including the most popular e-learning specific development tools on the market today.
