This program has been pre-approved for 15 (General) recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
Participation in all originally scheduled days of the program is mandatory in order to receive the certificate of completion and 1.5 CEUs. Participants who miss more than two hours of the entire program will not be eligible to receive the certificate. Nadine Martin has had many different aspects to her career including being an automobile insurance adjuster, trial preparation assistant for the Manhattan and Bronx District Attorneys, a rock climbing and backpacking salesperson and a member of the U.S. Women's Judo Team. She has spent the majority of her career in the technology learning field. She also has been the technology training manager for Northeast Utilities (a New England-based utility company),the IS learning manager for LL Bean and the e-learning manager for Bean. During her corporate career she helped to introduce the accelerated learning methodology at both companies as well as help to redesign the way in which learning was done at the company. She is certified in the usage of the Herrmann Brain Dominance Instrument and has been utilizing technology to deliver learning for most of her career.
Nadine has bachelor's and master's degrees in education as well as having done post graduate work in counseling. She is currently an independent consultant as well as the supervisor for instructor development for the Eastern Division of the National Ski Patrol.

Cindy Huggett, CPLP, is an independent consultant, professional speaker, instructional designer, classroom facilitator, and author who specializes in workplace training and development. With more than 20 years of experience, Cindy has successfully designed curriculums, facilitated classes, and led training rollouts in almost every industry and every size organization.
Cindy is the author of The Virtual Training Guidebook: How to Design, Deliver, and Implement Live Online Learning (2013), Virtual Training Basics (2010), and the co-author of two ASTD Press Infolines, “Simple, Effective Online Learning” (2008) and “Designing for the Virtual Classroom” (2009). She holds a master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh, and a bachelor’s degree from James Madison University. Cindy is also a past member of the ASTD National Board of Directors and was one of the first to earn the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) designation.

Nancy Mikkelsen is passionate about the power of being positive and integrating that concept into everything she does. Nancy has over 25 years of experience in training and development in a variety of organizations ranging from large Fortune 500 companies to not-‐for-profit organizations. Her attitude, drive and skill at working at all levels within an organization and her ability to design, develop and deliver training has lead to positive results and a better bottom line. Nancy’s technical background led her to become a strong proponent of using the power of technology to transform learning.
In addition to an engineering degree and extensive graduate work in Adult Education, Nancy has also been certified in a variety of educational tools such as the Kouzes/Posner Leadership Challenge and Career Coaching. She is also affiliated with Harvard Business Publishing delivering their Leadership Direct and Breakthrough Leadership Programs.
Nancy is a National Member of ASTD and also served on several local chapter boards during her career. She also serves on several volunteer community boards. She devotes many hours to local community theater in Allentown both on and off stage.

Tips, Techniques, and Ready-To-Use Activities for the Virtual Classroom (Pfeiffer, 2004), and How To Design For The Live Online Classroom: Creating Great Interactive and Collaborative Training Using Web Conferencing (Brandon Hall, 2005). Additionally, she is a chapter contributor to The Handbook of Blended Learning (Pfeiffer, 2006), The AMA Handbook of E-Learning (The American Management Association, 2003), and The ASTD Handbook for Workplace Learning Professionals (ASTD, 2008, 2014). She has co-authored, with Nanette Miner, Tailored Learning: Designing the Blend That Fits (ASTD, 2009), a book focused on taking advantage of distributed technologies to create the best blended training solution possible.
Her most recent projects include a monthly Training Magazine Online series titled Virtually There and her newest book Body Language in the Bandwidth – How Facilitators, Producers, Designers, and Learners Connect, Collaborate & Succeed in the Virtual Classroom (2015).
