ATD offers two certificate programs on Human Performance Improvement (HPI):
Improving Human Performance Certificate: In this program, you will learn how to use the ATD HPI Model, apply the three critical components of HPI, link organizational goals to human performance, outline a strategy for finding and addressing performance gaps, and describe a process for evaluating the impact of your HPI solutions. The course is designed for seasoned learning professionals in both the private and public sectors of training, workshop learning, human resources, and organization development who are ready to move beyond traditional methods for improving performance.
ATD Master Performance Consultant Program: This is a unique assessment-based program that provides you the opportunity to assess, refine, and enhance your performance-consulting skills, while gaining hands-on experience applying proven tools and methodologies to real-world performance improvement situations. The course is designed for experienced performance consultants and practitioners seeking to confirm their mastery of this area of expertise.
ATD recommends taking Improving Human Performance Certificate followed by the ATD Master Performance Consultant Program. Improving Human Performance is not a required prerequisite for the ATD Master Performance Consultant Program. It does, however, provide a solid foundation into the discipline of HPI.
