Amit Nagpal
Founder of Pursuitica Learning Solutions
Former Head of Training and Capability Development at Infosys BPO

Based out of Pune, India, Amit calls himself a learning evangelist, as he is deeply passionate about and committed to developing and enriching resources across the globe. Amit worked for more than a decade at Infosys BPO, where was head of training and capability development.

Last year, Amit moved on to set up his own learning practice, Pursuitica Learning Solutions. Amit brings more than 28 years of experience as a manager, leader, and entrepreneur, with 10 years in talent development and 18 years in business process operations management and sales management for organizations such as GlaxoSmithKline, NIS/NIIT, General Electric, and Wipro BPO, Cognizant. Amit has established several award-winning initiatives in the areas of technology-aided and blended learning and has presented at various national and international learning events. He has written for TD magazine and Forbes India. Amit is currently working on a chronicle of his leadership journey, experiences, and insights, which is scheduled to be published by early 2018.

Session: Blended Learning Impact: Evidence-Based Global Perspectives

Even though the 70-20-10 concept has been around for years, organizations have now started applying it to their e-learning strategies. That’s where innovative, technology-based tools can help, by enabling companies to focus on training outside formal classroom or web-based training. In fact, a truly blended approach involves multiple methods to meet the needs of a diverse learning audience. With the technology available today, organizations can enhance the formal training experience with more fluid forms of collaboration, mobility, and context. This session focuses on the impact of various blended learning initiatives at global organizations. This session will also cover microlearning and its application, one of the hottest L&D topics today.
