Jongho Shin
Professor, the Department of Education at Seoul National University
신종호, 서울대학교 교육학과 교수

현재 서울대학교 교육학과 교수로 있으며, 학습창의센터(CLC) 소장으로 일하고 있다. 주요 연  구 관심사로는 창의적 정체성, 자기주도성, 실수기반학습 등이 있다. 대표적인 저역서로는 “연구로  본 교육심리학”,  “영재아동바로알기”, “학습과학” 등이 있다.

Jongho Shin is a professor at the Department of Education at Seoul National University and works as a director of the Center for Learning Science and Creative Talent Development. His main area of research involves creative identity, self-regulation, and error-based learning. His published works include “Educational Psychology From a Research Perspective,” “Truths and Myths About Gifted Children,” and “Learning Science.”

창의적 정체성을 통해 본 전문성 개발


창의적 정체성은 새로운 것을 창조하는 경험을 통해 구축된 개인의 이미지이다. 창의적 정체성은 창의적 활동에 대한 개인의 인식은 물론, 사회문화적 평가에 의해 지속적으로 강화된다. 특히 이 창의적 정체성에 따라서 개인들은 이후의 창의적 수행의 방향을 결정하고, 창의적 과제에 도전하기도 한다. 이러한 관점에서 창의적 정체성은 전문성을 개발하는 과정에 중요한 요인이 될 수 있다. 본 발표에서는 다년간 발표자가 수행한 연구결과를 바탕으로 창의적 정체성과 전문성의 관계를 확인하고, 전문성 개발에 이 창의적 정체성을 어떻게   반영할 수 있을지를 살펴볼 것이다.

Creative identity stems from personal experiences of creating new things. Individuals form their creative identity through self-recognition of their creative activities and socio-cultural evaluation. In particular, creative identity is seen as an important predictor of achievement, because individuals tend to determine the direction of future creative outcomes and challenge creative tasks based on their creative identity. Therefore, creative identity can be an important factor in the process of developing individuals’ professionalism in their field. This session will explore the relationships between individuals’ creative identity and professional development based on the speaker’s research and discuss how to incorporate creative identity into the process of professional development.
