ATD Chapter Leaders Conference Program Advisory Committee (ALC PAC)

The ALC PAC, a national advisory committee comprised of chapter leaders, works with ATD staff to develop and execute the annual ATD Chapter Leaders Conference (ALC).

The ALC PAC is charged with reviewing and recommending session proposals for ALC, identifying programming gaps, and recommending topics and speakers to fill those gaps. The ALC PAC solicits conference sponsors, recommends keynote speakers, and serves as the host committee during the conference. ALC PAC members attend the conference and collect feedback from attendees regarding areas of success or improvement. The ALC PAC term is one year in length.

*Each year the ALC PAC accepts applications from chapter leaders interested in serving a one-year term on the advisory committee for the upcoming year. Candidates should have served at least one year as a chapter board member and attended ALC while serving as a chapter leader. Current chapter leaders should not apply to serve on the ALC PAC during the year of their presidential term.

Chapter Recognition Committee (CRC)

The Chapter Recognition Committee (CRC), an ATD advisory committee comprised of chapter leaders, is charged with identifying, recognizing, and sharing chapter best practices. CRC members recommend and select Sharing Our Success (SOS) submissions for recognition and recognize chapters for the Chapter of the Month (COM) distinction. For more information, check out our chapter-related ATD committees at-a-glance document.

CRC Resources

  • CRC FAQs: Find out more about the work of committee and the SOS/COM selection process.
  • CRC YouTube Channel: Watch interviews with SOS submitters and COM winners to hear about their experiences with the process and the value gained from their participation.
  • Sharing Our Success (SOS): The SOS program helps chapters improve through sharing easy-to-use ideas, resources, and practices in the areas of communication, contribution to the community, membership, and the development of programs, products, and services. If your chapter has a best practice, sample form, or template to share, click here to submit your SOS best practice.
  • Chapter of the Month (COM): The COM program highlights a chapter each month that deserves special recognition. Recipients must be innovative, have had an approved SOS accepted, be CARE achieved, and have not been recognized within the past 18 months.
