ATD Student Scholarships and Dissertation Award

Students in a doctoral, graduate, or undergraduate program are encouraged to apply for the ATD John Coné Student Membership Scholarship, ATD International Conference & Exposition registration scholarship, and the ATD Essentials Series workshop scholarship. Applicants should be current students at the time of submitting the application. There is one online application for all scholarships. The 2018 scholarship applications will be available in Fall 2017.
The ATD Dissertation Award is given to foster and disseminate research about talent development practices. It is presented to the person who has submitted the best doctoral dissertation for which a degree has been granted between August 1, 2015, and September 30, 2016. Learn more.

7:15-7:45 a.m. Welcome Coffee & Pastries
Pick up your student nametag ribbon and network with fellow students before going to the General Session for reserved seating. A drawing will be held at 7:45 a.m. for one attendee to receive a copy of a new ATD Press book.
3:30-4:30 p.m. Student Session
All students are invited to attend this session highlighting ATD resources and career development opportunities.
4:45-6 p.m. Students and Young Professionals Career Networking Social
Join us for this exclusive students and young professionals-only event to network with career coaches. Enjoy beer and wine while adding to your network! Have questions for the career coaches? Bring them to the Ask-a-Coach portion of this event, or just listen to what your peers are asking. Attendance is limited to young professionals, PhD, masters, and bachelors students. Space is limited; preregistration is encouraged.

Student Membership and Eligibility Requirements
Student Professional Member Rate: $75
Student Professional Plus Member Rates: $195 (Domestic); $119 (International)*
ATD student members receive full membership benefits at a fraction of the regular membership rate! The ATD student member rate is for students 1) who are enrolled in the equivalent of at least half-time at an accredited university or college OR 2) who are active ATD chapter student members. The ATD Certification Institute (ATD CI) is creating a new certification for talent development professionals who are in the early part of their careers or whose professional roles and aspirations are focused on a few areas of expertise. Learn more about this new certification, which may be a destination for some, or a stepping stone to the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) for others.
