Claudia Kidder got her start in distance learning at Columbia Video Network (CVN). Later on, she worked on some instructional design projects while recruiting for American Express. Using a competency model to recruit MBA talent peaked her interest in developing competency models and executive search. For the past 19 years, she has focused on a combination of corporate talent acquisition and retained search. She also got involved with various writing projects, including writing policies and procedures, executive summaries, training materials, benchmark reports, competency model documents, and interview guides. 

More recently, she spent four years entirely focused on business research projects, monitoring blog posts, and writing social media messages to attract and engage executives. One of those business research projects included working on a team to develop a $40 million USAID proposal. She also has become fascinated with information design principles, technical communication, and web content management. Lately for fun, she has been creating CrazyTalk animations and Camtasia videos.
