Tony Gagliardo currently serves as the head of NASA/CALTECH Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s Technical Learning and Development Organization. He is also a graduate professor of unmanned systems with Arizona State University. Tony is committed to supporting the technical training and professional needs of the men and women of NASA and the California Institute of Technology in their quest to dare to do mighty things. Tony has served as a leader and technical contributor in federal government, the Department of Defense, and private industry organizations. Tony’s prior experience includes leading the Federal Aviation Administration Air Traffic Organization’s Technical Training Support Directorate as the national director of safety and technical training. In that role, he guided efforts to modernize and transform training and certification for the Federal Aviation Administration’s 20,000 air traffic controllers and 6,000 maintenance technicians.
