Holly Harrington serves as the senior level adviser and deputy director of the Office of Public Affairs. In this position, she provides guidance to agency leadership and helps direct a staff of 13 professionals. In addition, Holly oversees the agency’s five social media platforms, and manages the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s crisis communications program. Previously, she held senior public affairs positions at the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Holly holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism (reporting and editing) and a master’s degree in mass communications, both from San Jose State University.
