Bahaa Hussein, CPTD®, is a distinguished international facilitator renowned for his expertise in various ATD education programs, including the Master Trainer™, Master Performance Consultant™, and Designing Learning Certificate Programs. Presently, he serves as the managing partner at SIMDUSTRY®, a reputable Germany-based Business Simulation Solutions Company.

He is one of several authors from around the world who has contributed to the ATD-published book "Destination Facilitation," acknowledged as the guide to training on globally. The book emphasizes the significance of cultivating a global mindset when conducting training sessions across diverse cultures worldwide.

With over 30 years of experience, Bahaa has successfully trained individuals from approximately 50 different nationalities across Europe, CEEMEA, North America and Asia regions. His impact spans diverse domains such as Sales & Sales Management and Technical Talent Development areas, consistently enabling individuals to achieve their utmost potential.

A graduate of the American University in Cairo with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a minor in Political Science, Bahaa embarked on his career journey in 1986 with Procter & Gamble Egypt (P&G) as a van salesman. Climbing the ranks, he became a key manager for P&G in the Arabian Peninsula, overseeing the sales operation in Saudi Arabia.

In 2003, Bahaa joined the Abudawood Group (P&G Partner and Distributor), contributing significantly to the realization of their vision to double business. As the Business Development Head, he established a food division (launching major brands like Ferrero and Pringles) and served as the General Manager in various Middle East markets.

Driven by a genuine interest in positively impacting lives through enhanced human performance, Bahaa transitioned his career in 2008 to focus entirely on Talent Development, discovering his true passion. In 2012, he achieved the prestigious ATD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPTD®), making him one of the 1,300 certified learning and development professionals globally and the first in the Middle East.

In his most recent corporate role as the Director of Corporate Learning Development at Abudawood Group, Bahaa managed the L&D function, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of training programs across six markets in MEA and AP&P (Arabian Peninsula & Pakistan). Additionally, he played a pivotal role in the task force responsible for formulating and developing the newly updated ATD capability model launched in January 2020.

Bahaa's notable clients include Aramco, Qatar Airways, Emirates Airlines, SABIC, Baashen Co., J&J, Basamh, Mercedes AbuDhabi Agent "AlFahim," and Abudawood Group P&G JV.
