Ricardo Espinola is a medical officer in the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) Devices Review Branch, Division of Blood Components and Devices, Office of Blood Research and Review, at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Ricardo received the 2014 award for the CBER Medical Device Report Review Team for outstanding collaboration updating medical device product codes and database assignments, and developing a risk-based review of medical device reports for CBER. He also received the 2014 Diagnostics Grifols DG Gel Cards Review Team award for the outstanding teamwork, expert, and thorough review of the Diagnostics Grifols DG Gel Cards and associated submissions.
