Australia: Skilled vacancies fall in November

(From smh.com.au) Skilled job vacancies fell by 1.0 per cent in November compared to a month earlier, national data shows.

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations skilled vacancies index in November was 44.5 points, 5.9 per cent higher than in November 2009.

The department's internet vacancy index rose 2.5 per cent for the month of October to 96.1 points, to be 20.1 per cent higher than in October 2009.

Vacancies in November fell in all three of the occupational groups monitored by the department.
