Social Media in the Workplace: UK Report

(onlinesocialmedia.net) Following on from our article on 5 different marketing techniques we received an email from UMPF surrounding the use of social media in the job world in the UK, more specifically around their Social Media Whitepaper.

UMPF PR were commissioned by My Job Group to do some surveying into how much social media affects the workplace. The results have presented important findings around productivity in the work place. Any of you that have ever worked in an office environment will know of the temptations that Facebook creates for checking in on friends and family, or you have received an email saying you have a new LinkedIn contact. Some of the research that was carried out shows 1 in every 6 web pages being viewed is a Facebook page.
