The Six Disciplines of Results-Focused Learning: D3

The third of the six disciplines of breakthrough learning is D3: Deliver for Application.  The idea is simple:

Results = Learning X Learning Transfer

You need both to achieve great learning and great transfer.  In particular, you need learning that is easy to apply.  That’s what D3 is all about.

Professionals who want to make great transfer happen must also learn:
•    the importance of relevance and the questions that need to be on every level 1 evaluation
•    how to build a value chain that links training to business impact
•    why instructional method matters more than instructional media
•    how to help participants set better goals.
