ASTD’s newest community of practice, Workforce Development, is excited to announce that it will launch many new sessions at ASTD’s International Conference & Exposition designed solely for managers, and those who train them. Those sessions can be found under the  Workforce Development track, and will focus on topics like managing mobile workforces,  collaboration between managers and trainers, employee engagement strategies, case studies on engagement strategies, gamification for managers, storytelling for managers, and more.

So, what is the Workforce Development community? This new community offers exclusive content and tools for managers, and those trainers who work with them, to help increase employee engagement, productivity, and retention. The community offers exclusive content, tools, webcasts, and resources to give managers and trainers the one-stop resource they need to improve the effectiveness of their workforce. You can get more information on how to join here—and on the community by contacting me at [email protected].
