This holiday season say “thank you” to someone who helped you get where you are today. Whether it was a job, a new responsibility, or a challenge for you to overcome, each of us have people in our lives who’ve opened a door of opportunity. Now you have the opportunity to say thank you.

Taking the lead from Bill Treasure’s new book, Leaders Open Doors, ATD has launched a campaign to say “thank you” to those remarkable leaders who have opened doors of opportunity for others. Go to our LeadersOpenDoors page and tell us a story about a leader who opened a door of opportunity for you, then be sure to give them a shout out on LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook using the hashtag #LeadersOpenDoors. Show these leaders how they have changed your life by saying thank you and help us spread some gratitude.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said it best, “Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.”
