As talent development professionals, we spend so much of our time focusing on other people’s success that it can be easy to forget about ourselves. Sue Kaiden, manager of the Career Development Community at ATD, wants talent development professionals to ask themselves the right questions to ensure a clear career development path.

In the podcast “Top 10 Essential Tips for Success,” Sue interviews career development experts Lisa Downs and Nanci Appleman-Vassil. They each bring specialized knowledge on coaching, organization development, and leadership development. Lisa and Nancy are speakers at the ATD 2016 International Conference & Exposition; this podcast provides a sneak peek of their talk along with some career development tips for the talent development field.

In the podcast, Nancy and Lisa cover:

  • the questions you should be asking yourself about career development
  • the tools they find useful for career development
  • an overview of their session at ATD 2016.

Listen to the complete podcast for answers to your career development questions and to learn more about Nancy and Lisa’s ATD 2016 session, Leading Your Career, which will be held on Tuesday, May 24, at 4:30 p.m.
