Building Evidence-Based Solutions for How Managers Learn

In late 2015, I was delighted to commission a new research project that focuses on an issue we have always been inquisitive about at GoodPractice, under the broad title “How Managers Learn.” we wanted to know what do managers actually do when faced with unfamiliar challenges? What’s more, how do they equip themselves to overcome them?  

We engaged with ComRes to ask 500 business leaders and managers in the United Kingdom what they really get up to behind their L&D manager’s back. We wanted to find out what they said and get to the root of how managers learn. The infographic below offers some highlights that we uncovered.

About the Author

Peter is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a member of the Institute of Directors, and holds an MBA from Heriot Watt University. He's also a qualified mountain leader and volunteers as an outdoor instructor with young people.
