How ”essential” is your federal agency? A new infographic from Masters-in-accounting.org attempts to answer that question by ranking agencies according to the percentage of workers who remained on the job during last month’s shutdown.
The figures reveal that federal agencies varied dramatically. For example, 95 percent of employees from the VA continued to work, compared to only three percent of NASA’s workforce.
