Hello, Senior Leaders & Executives Community members! Will you be at ATD 2016 in Denver next week? If so, I would like to meet you! I’ll be at the Communities of Practice Booth in ATD Central (located in the Expo Hall) on Tuesday, May 24, from 2 to 3 p.m. Please come say hello! The booth will be stocked with brochures describing ATD’s various Communities of Practice, including more details on the Senior Leaders & Executives Community.

The Communities of Practice Booth will also be debuting ATD’s latest publication for TD executives – CTDO (Chief Talent Development Officer) magazine. Be sure to ask ATD staff for the opportunity to browse this dynamic, digital publication for yourself; we’ll have an iPad available for this purpose. If you are not yet a subscriber, sign up to receive this free, quarterly magazine here

ATD 2016 has a dedicated education track on leadership development. You can search for topics and speakers that interest you, and build your own daily schedule. Check out the online program guide and get started planning for your ATD 2016 experience. Below are some suggested concurrent sessions:

The Community Express: Senior Leaders & Executives Fast Track will focus on business and strategic alignment. This session will make a case for aligning talent development and business strategy, share practical ways to do so, and provide a higher-level look at trends in this space. The one-hour TEDx-style session on Monday, May 23, from 3-4 p.m. in Mile High 1C, features Martha Soehren, Jacque Burandt, and David Yesford. This popular session format includes audience Q&A at the conclusion of the hour. Don’t miss it!

I look forward to learning with you at ATD 2016, and beyond. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or ideas.
