I have spent the last two and a half years in my role at ASTD learning from the best and brightest thought leaders in the sales training industry. We’ve expanded our presence at ASTD’s International Conference & EXPO, launched the Sales Enablement Community of Practice, created the Ultimate Selling Skills workshop, and continued great growth as a community.

Now, the idea of returning to the field as a practitioner and leveraging this knowledge and experience I’ve gained to help sales organizations achieve success through training and development has been growing in appeal to me. I am a huge fan of ASTD but have decided to begin writing the next chapter in my career. With that my last day will be today, April 12th. It has been a pleasure engaging with the community while in my capacity as Sales Enablement Community of Practice Manager and, as we all know, it’s a small world so I imagine we’ll cross paths again in the future.

I encourage you to continue lively discussions in our LinkedIn Group, leverage the resources and content that ASTD offers for your professional development, and join ASTD this year at the Sales Enablement Experience at ASTD 2013 in Dallas.
