Managing for People Who Hate Managing

By  Devora Zack

Managing for People Who Hate Managing

Many managers dislike their jobs because they haven’t found the management style that is right for them or because they feel unprepared. Managing for People Who Hate Managing gives managers the tools they need to overcome the many obstacles that come with being a manager.

Professional success, more often than not, means becoming a manager. Yet nobody prepared you for having to deal with messy tidbits like emotions, conflicts, and personalities—all while achieving ever-greater goals and meeting ever-looming deadlines. Not exactly what you had in mind, is it?
