Facilitator Skills Are Different From Lecturing or Public Speaking Skills

Because the success of facilitation hinges on active participation, it demands different skills than lecturing. Facilitators fulfill the same tasks as do conventional instructors, but they must accomplish them by motivating class member contributions:
