CPLP Recertification

Stay Certified!

CPLP Recertification Basics:

  • CPLP® credential is valid for three years. Recertification is earned through professional development.
  • Credential holders must accumulate 60 CPLP® recertification points within the three year recertification period.
  • CPLPs must submit a completed application and tracking worksheet providing evidence of their professional development activities.

The following is a schedule of certification cycles and deadlines:

*As of 2019, recertification packets must be postmarked by the last day of the three-year certification cycle.

Please check our list of courses and classes that are PRE-APPROVED for recertification credits.

Certified on or Before May 1, 2016?

For any CPLP credential holders certified on or before May 1, 2016, an open-book assessment on the global mindset competency must also be submitted at the time of recertification.

In December 2015, all CPLP credential holders received the Global Mindset chapter of the CPLP Learning System at no charge.

In addition to the tracking worksheet with recertification credits, credential holders should submit the fee and the completed open-book assessment.
