Destress and Meet Exhibitors in the EXPO Hall

Sunday, May 19, 2019

ATD 2019’s EXPO hall will feature more than 450 exhibitors offering innovative ideas, tools and applications. Located in Halls ABC, the EXPO hall will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, as well as from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Additionally, the Expo Hall floor will be a great place for attendees to unwind and destress. There will be quite a few areas that attendees may be interested in visiting.

Relax and Recharge Lounge
One of the new amenities at ATD 2019 is a Relax and Recharge Lounge. This area on the EXPO floor includes ways for attendees to relax, destress, and recharge (both literally and figuratively).

Wellness is a growing trend in the workplace, as more companies are responding to their employees’ desire to incorporate physical and mental fitness activities into their day. According to the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index, nearly six in 10 millennials say that work-life balance and well-being in a job are “very important” to them. This trend is also impacting ATD 2019.

Wellness Stage
On the Wellness Stage, we will feature some quick learning sessions, approximately 15-20 minutes planned during open time, to share tips to improve personal wellbeing or maintain a healthy lifestyle—such as work life balance, mindfulness, relaxation, meditation, stretching, etc. These lightweight sessions will help you stretch your mental muscles in a non-traditional manner.

Ice Cream Break
And what better way to destress and reward yourself for successful networking and mind sharing than by eating some ice cream? On Tuesday from 2 to 3 p.m., the EXPO hall will hosting an ice cream break for all attendees, sponsored by Gomo.
