Wouldn’t it be nice to never look for a job again? Highly successful people don’t look for jobs! They are attractive passive candidates that are recognized as top talent in their industry and as such are coveted by employers. Attractive passive candidates are not looking for a job, but are open to accepting the right opportunity when presented with it.
Highly successful people (or attractive passive candidates) are good at what they do – they capitalize on their strengths and they are always authentic. They get more done than their peers and they have strong networks and resources they can call upon. They not only do their jobs well, they provide extra value to the company. And they manage their career as if it were their business.
Attractive passive candidates (1) know their strengths and drivers. They (2) exhibit leadership qualities and always (3) find meaningful work that builds career value. They (4) commit to livelong learning as well as (5) create powerful connections and communicate frequently with parties who have a vested interest in their efforts. Following these 5 steps can put you on the road to become an attractive passive candidate that hiring managers and recruiters seek out for their opportunities. Wouldn’t it be nice to never look for a job again?
