DDI Named a “Great Place to Work” in the US for Second Year

Development Dimensions International (DDI) has been named number seven on the list of the Best Medium-Sized Companies to Work for in America on the Great Place to Work Rankings: 2010 Best Small &Medium Workplaces Presented by Entrepreneur.

The list represents the best Workplaces separated into two categories: small companies with 50-250 employees and medium companies with 251-999 employees. Great Place to Work Institute, based in San Francisco, produces the Best Small & Medium Workplaces list each year.

"We are so proud that DDI is again recognized nationally as a great place to work," Bill Byham, Co-Founder, Chairman and CEO of DDI said. "While DDI has helped other organizations build workplaces that cultivate trust, build cooperation, inspire creativity and help employees to be their best, it has always been a priority to live and practice those same values for our employees around the world."

DDI was selected as a winner for this list by participating in the Great Place to Work Institute's selection process which includes a survey of DDI's employees based on the Trust Index and a completed a questionnaire by DDI about programs and company practices. The Great Place to Work Institute evaluated the company based on five areas: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. The Institute's unique methodology measures the level of trust that exists between employees and management, the pride employees express about the company and the camaraderie employees share.

"Trust-based workplace cultures make a better place to work for employees and create a competitive advantage for the organization," said Ricardo Lange, President of Great Place to Work Institute. "All of the companies selected have cultivated a trust-based work culture and have accomplished a lot to make it onto the list."
