The Association for Talent Development underscores that shift through its Talent Development Capability Model , a research-based framework outlining what practitioners need to know and do to develop themselves, others, and their organizations. The model organizes 23 capabilities across three domains—building personal, developing professional, and impacting organizational capability—highlighting that success requires more than instructional design and facilitation expertise.
