Relentless Workplaces Have Greater Turnover Rates

As the Great Resignation shows no signs of abating, smart business leaders are taking a critical eye to their own organizations in an attempt to prevent their top performers from walking out. Turnover of key team members can hamstring an organization, disrupt culture, and even cause more departures, so it’s important to be proactive about solving turnover issues before they lead to greater headaches. Warning signs allow observant managers to spot potential departures and intervene when necessary. When employees have too much on their plates, the unrelenting work culture increases stress and productivity falters. When this becomes overwhelming, employees look for other opportunities. To prevent this from becoming an issue, make sure employees’ workloads are manageable and their workflow is reasonable. When everything seems urgent, prioritizing employees’ tasks makes the workload more manageable.
