The article reports on a survey conducted by Salveson Stetson Group, a Pennsylvania-based executive search firm, on the integration of newly recruited managers into organizations in the U.S. According to the survey, more than half of the companies do an average or poor job of assimilating new management employees, while forty-six percent consider their efforts as average, 17 percent of them feel that their integration performance is poor. John Salveson, co-founder and principal of Salveson Stetson Group, says that due to lack of appropriate integrating efforts, executives fail to perform at their best level. The importance of improving employee retention policies has been highlighted.
