The article discusses the best and innovative approaches on learning and training of employee workers, highlighted by panelists at a public discussion "The 21st of Learning in the Federal Government" held in December 2005 in the U.S. Claudia Cross of the Department of Energy discussed about solving problems as a team. She added that successful learning are results of cross- organizational, collaborative initiatives. Chris Niedermayer of the Department of Agriculture spoke on the collaborative approach the agency employed in the selection and implementation of an enterprise-wide learning platform. General Frank Anderson of the Department of Defense shared that he has helped the agency in broadening its available learning resources and implementing performance learning architecture.
