The article presents summaries of four articles published in this issue of the journal. The article "Get a Seat at the Table" discusses about the importance of an in-depth understanding of human learning and performance in executives. "Waiting to Exhale," by Chris Taylor focuses on the growth in training firms, decrease in unemployment and an increase in training figures. The issue of creating the Organizational Savvy Model, which is designed to develop leaders while also helping them deal with company politics in an ethical manner, is the focus of the article "An Illuminated Path." The article "Learning Outsourcing: A Reality Check" presents a survey conducted by ASTD in partnership with IBM, which provides the basis for understanding the perceptions and practices of learning outsourcing.
