The article provides information about the leadership skills of business leaders in China. Chinese business leaders faces challenges which are unique to other countries. These include the one-child policy which help creates labor shortage, retention issues, less focus on employee engagement and the problem with its educational system that put emphasis on memorization instead of problem solving and strategic thinking. Chinese leaders focus on improving and leveraging talent followed by controlling costs and growth. Chinese business leaders are hired based on recommendations and personal relationships rather than focusing of a leaders capabilities. They employ the systematic approach and other follow the pipeline strategy.
