This discussion, prepared with the thought that shared experience may be of some value to others, indicates quite informally how one company organizes and operates its industrial training program. We will discuss the general objectives of the Training Department, the economic justifications for carrying on indus-trial training programs, some ways in which training activity can assist with the current emphasis upon increased productivity, a brief listing of the principal training programs now in operation, and an indication of the facili-ties whch the Corporation has made available to the department for its use.
