The article presents a case study on the core issues that an organization must address in formulating a talent management plan. Steve Tighe, a manager at Sperry Univac, has conducted the study which addresses questions which include of who should take ownership of the initiative executive staff, human resources, the training department. Another concern of the study is to know whether talent management is reserved for the top tier of an organization, or for all employees. The study has also provided information on how should organizations publicize their initiatives in talent management.
