The article focuses on the importance of proper training for the success of small businesses in the U.S. According to a research by the Small Business Administration, only forty-four percent of new employer establishments survive at least four years. However, proper training for small business owners can contribute to the prevention of these downfalls. Trainers may find it more effective to create materials that can be accessed on the job by these business owners, rather than to expect participants to leave their businesses and attend classroom training.
