My favorite interview question to ask and answer is "Tell me about a time when you failed; what did you learn from it?" Individuals learn more from other people's failures than their own. Help employees develop new skills and change their behavior via scenario- or story-driven learning. By using such learning, L&D practitioners give workers the tools they need to manage situations that can damage their reputation, the organization, a project, or the bottom line.
