Where do groups and their roles within mobile learning intersect? What should be on your radar with mobile?

In creating your first mobile efforts, it can be helpful to consider which groups in an organization need to be concerned with specific aspects of a project. The diagram below breaks down four key project components—Policy, Performance, Content, and Technology—and then identifies the groups that need to be concerned with those aspects of the project.

The bottom line is not everyone needs to be involved with everything on a project like this, except you as project lead. Get feedback from those you need to hear from, where and when you need it. Be selective in your team invitations and your feedback requests. Status reports and meetings are not open forums or places where stakeholders come with late-breaking ideas. Those types of working meetings and discussions should be held earlier, and should take place collaboratively with findings and recommendations being brought to the larger group.
