If you’re looking for something to complain about, 2020 has you covered. A global pandemic has killed more than 814,000 people so far. The economy is in a recession and unemployment is higher than at any time since the Great Depression. And—just to keep things interesting—we’re about to endure what promises to be the nastiest election of our lives. With so much fresh misery to gripe about, it’s a tough time to be pushing gratitude.
