Employee engagement levels are woefully low, not only in the U.S. but across the developed world. According to a new survey released by Achievers, only 21 percent of respondents from North America, the U.K., and Australia are “very engaged.” That leaves 79 percent of employees somewhere in the disengagement doldrums—a figure that should give leadership pause.
