Walmart Uses VR to Determine Employees’ Leadership Capacities

Walmart, the largest private employer in the country, was an early adopter of virtual and augmented reality for employee training purposes. Now it will be using these technologies to determine the employees that may be ready for management. Drew Holler, Walmart’s senior vice president for associate experience, says virtual reality can help place associates in real-life situations, like showing a new employee around the store or calming angry guests while the associate tests their decision
