Sarah Siegel manages a team of premier instructional designers in the IBM Center for Advanced Learning (CAL) and leads global enablement and up-skilling for CAL. Prior to these roles she was a social learning developer in CAL, using IBM Connections communities and Facebook, as well as other social technologies, including Livestream with moderated live chat, video blogging and virtual worlds to enable IBMers to learn to be more effective in their jobs. Sarah began her IBM career in 1996 as a web producer and has been delighted, no matter her varied roles since then, to watch the web grow, and to stretch it especially into social learning since 2008. In May, 2012, Sarah earned her Master’s in Organization & Leadership with a specialization in Adult Learning and Leadership from Teachers College of Columbia University while working full-time at IBM.
