How to Prepare a Security Plan

K. Joan Bender is a federal employee involved in security of a high-risk area. Over the past 12 years, she has been engaged in security training and was nationally recognized as an expert in workplace violence. She trained the federal employees in Denver, CO in preparation for the Timothy McVeigh trial. When the anthrax attacks occurred in 2001, she had already developed an online course entitled “How to Respond to an Anthrax Threat.” She trained more than 6,000 employees to deal with the anthrax crisis.
