My clinical background has paved the way for me to grow professionally and find my true passion, which is learning & development.  I love everything about the process from start to finish. It's always exciting to see a project as a final product. I am constantly searching for ways to improve our training program as well as for self-growth.

My short term goal is to implement some changes to improve our current training program so that the adult learners we are working with can feel confident and proficient with their everyday use of the medical software which translates to better patient care.

My long term goal is to become CPLP certified and start my own instructional design consultation business so I can share my passion and knowledge with even more people.

I am proficient in both facilitating and course development. I have implemented microlearning for our corporation in the form of weekly emails titled 'Tuesday Tips'. The emails go out to all employees communicating a tip or training tidbit based on the trending common questions we receive.

I am constantly looking for new ways to share education with our adult learners so that they feel confident and proficient with the medical software.

My duties include:
Conduct analysis to determine training needs for healthcare software, develop and conduct NextGen skills training.
Organize and develop training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
Maintain records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
Translate workflow strategies into training materials and job aids.
Proof drafts of training materials created by the team to ensure consistency.
Coordinate training schedule and agenda with practices to properly execute the required training.
Develop testing and evaluation procedures to be used during training.
Create eLearning courses.
Provide microlearning for continued education and information retention.
Lead team of software trainers so that the education provided by all training personnel to the end-users is consistent.
Stay up to date and current with the latest, most effective adult learning techniques, practices and theories.
Maintain HQM portal for ACI/Meaningful Use reporting.
Stay informed of most current ACI/MU changes and updates in order to communicate any changes.
Complete successful ACI/MU attestation by the deadline.
Work with appropriate departments to complete any ACI/MU audits to submit information in a timely manner.
