Celia Teizen

I started my career at Mc Donald’s in 1986 in my native country Brazil, as a trainee manager working in the restaurant. Two years later I was promoted to Restaurant manager which led me to become a Training director in Brazil, one of the top 10 countries in the McDonald’s System. The strong operational experience that I had in the beginning of my career, helped me to find the strong point of my abilities: human resources and training.

As an accomplished global learning and development professional I have a proven record of success. I am known for my strong professionalism, exceptional work ethic and ability to orchestrate deliverables with different areas of the world and different cultures.  I am passionate about helping people achieve their maximum performance to get the best business results possible.

My strengths in leadership competencies include: Leads through Influence, Executes for results, Builds and Leverages Talent and Leads Change and Innovation.

I’m seeking to leverage my experiences through a position that will continue to expand my capacities in driving People development and better performance of the business.

I hold a Bachelors Degree in Tourism and Hospitality, a Masters Degree in Business Administration in Human Resources, with a specialization in Culture. In addition to my mother language Portuguese, I speak English and Spanish.

I have lived in three different continents (South America, Europe and North America).   This contributes to my understanding of multicultural issues and how to deploy training and talent development on a diversity environment.
