Cinthia Satornino
ABOUT ME
After spending more than a decade in corporate and institutional settings as a strategic planning professional and consultant, Cinthia B. Satornino entered academia to pursue cutting-edge research. She earned her MBA at the University of Florida and her doctorate at Florida State University. Satornino’s research focus is on uncovering how firms can quantify and leverage the capital embedded in their organization’s own social structure to increase productivity, innovation, and performance. She has co-authored award-winning publications in several outlets, including the Journal of Marketing, and is the founding co-chair of the Committee for Hispanic Excellence in Business, a Ph.D. Project/White House initiative. She was recognized as a 2016 Emerging Scholar by Diverse Magazine. Satornino is an assistant professor of marketing at the University of Connecticut, and co-founder of Cordoba Parsons, a research-based consulting company.
